The Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, (SDP) Prince Adewole Adebayo, has said that Nigeria 1999 Constitution has ingredient that could fix the country.

The SDP Presidential Candidate stated that chapter two of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria contained both the government’s responsibilities to the citizens and what the citizens should do for the country.

Adebayo who spoke in a recent exclusive interview with Voice of Nigeria (VON) added that he will ensure that Nigeria’s government is based on the country’s constitution if elected President in 2023.

He added that “the constitution is a very ingredient in fixing the country”.

He reiterated that the chapter two of Nigeria’s constitution is paramount to the country’s growth and development.

“If we want to fix Nigeria, we need to make up our mind; everybody is part of the problem, for me, I want to fix the country, my spanner is the truth, the government can stop insecurity, Nigerians don’t hold the government accountable”

He added that the task of fixing the country is a responsibility of all Nigerians, adding that it is wrong for the youths and women to demand for money before supporting or voting for a particular candidate but vote for the candidate of their choice.

He further charged Nigerian youths, women and the electorates to resist vote buying, the temptation of collecting money from politicians to vote them into power.
