Osun: Small Scale Business Owners Admonished To Make Use Of Free CAC Registration

Applicants of the ongoing free Cooperate Affairs Commission, CAC, registration in Osun State have been enjoined to cooperate with the state Ministry of Commerce and Industry in order for them to experience seamless exercise .

The ministry said it will make the ongoing CAC registration accessible for all applicants irrespective of their stratification in the society.

Recall that the federal government recently as part of its social intervention relief program announced CAC registration for small scale business owners across the country at no cost.

Information Officer to the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mrs Ademiotan Adegbulugbe told BlazeNewz on Monday at the state Secretariat, Abere, that they will do everything possible to make applicants get their businesses registered with CAC.

She said although their ministry is not in charge of issuing CAC certificate as it is only saddled with collation of applicants details, adding that the final process will be done by the commission.

She also dismissed the insinuation by the public that the ministry is playing politics with the ongoing exercise in order to deprive some citizens of the free registration.

She maintained that the ministry is opened for all applicants to submit their details as pre-registration, saying the exercise is still ongoing.

She, however, urged the public to disregard what she described as baseless accusations by some applicants that the ministry is giving out slots preserved for the general public to insiders.

She also admonished small scale business owners in the state to use this opportunity to register their businesses with the CAC.
