Imo residents on Monday shut down their businesses again in total compliance with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) sit-at-home order.

Our correspondent, who monitored the situation on Monday, reports that commercial activities were closed down as business owners and workers remained indoors.

The ever-busy Ama-Hausa along Douglas Road, Owerri where Bureau de Change business takes place was completely empty as the traders stayed away.

Banks, schools and public institutions in Owerri capital city were also closed while commuter services were off the roads completely.

Even people residing in the hinterlands such as Emekukwu, Nekede, Orji, Obowo, Ngor Okpalla stayed at home.
