2022: Oyetola Consultative Forum inaugurates council coordinators

The leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC Osun State chapter have stormed the inauguration of Socia-political group under the aegis of
Oyetola Consultative Forum (OCF).

Coordinators who will be representing the group across the state were all presented with certificate of office at OCF State office on Thursday, Osogbo, Osun State capital.

The group which comprises of numerous grassroot politicians in the state is given the mandate to mobilise electorate for the second term of Governor Gboyega Oyetola ambition cross political parties.

APC Party chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun lauded the members of the Oyetola Consultative Forum (OCF) for the initiative and readiness to support the present administration till 2026.

Famodun who was presented by the media consultant to Governor Oyetola ,Mr Kola Olabisi said the group will enjoy full support from leadership of APC in the state.

He added that the present situation in Nigeria has called for diversification of economy which the present administration has done justice to in the state.

“There is nobody that will see the objective of Oyetola Consultative Forum that will not be moved with its political enlightenment on Governor Gboyega Oyetola administration and mechanism toward reconciling with aggrieved members of APC.

“Governor Gboyega Oyetola is working, nobody can be identified with failure. Osun communities have become construction sites that are testifing to the infrastructural development of present administration.

“Any time you need the party support APC is with you and it is ready to support you at anytime”. he added

The convener of the group, Honorable Nike Omoworare said they organized the group to publicize the giant strides Governor Oyetola adminstration has recorded in the area of infrastructural development, health provision, human capacity development, provision of water and rural development in state.

Omoworare, who was former deputy speaker of the Osun State Houses of Assembly,
further said, “Our primary Objectives include reconciling with aggrieved members of All Progressives Congress ,APC and seeking the support of opinion leaders and stakeholders in Osun State to favour an additional four year term for Governor Oyetola .

“Supporting the All Progressives Congress party structure in the aim of mobilising people, support and votes for the re-election of Governor Oyetola.

“Upon the realisation that an action Governor like Governor Gboyega Oyetola will benefit the State if his four year mandate is renewed for another four years, we came together to enlarge the political working structure of Governor Oyetola.

“We are experienced politicians of repute with the GOAL of mobilising a statewide cross-political support for the second term of Governor Oyetola. Mobilising politicians across political divide to work for the second term of Governor

“We are all witnesses to the last Governorship election that trumped Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola up as the Governor of Osun State. And in the last two years,

Similarly, former state lawmaker,who became OCF coordinator for Osun Central Senatorial District, Hon Ismail Kolawole said the group came to existence to support the present administration led by Gboyega Oyetola and reelection in office.

The former lawmaker further said the state is enjoying peaceful environment due prompt salary payment to workers in the state.

He charged the local government coordinators to be steadfast in their activities across their respective communities for the progress of the party.

Speaking, the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation and Engagement, Mrs Funke Egbemode commended the coordinator of the forum, promised to support with maximum media publicity.

Mrs Egbemode also urged the grassroot coordinators not to relent in making the activities of the governor known to the people of the state.

“My job is to blow whistle on the wonderful work of Mr Governor whenever or wherever, it is paramount for us all to ensure every citizen of the state is aware of the giants strides taken by the governor in term of infrastructure, health, empowerment or any other sector of the economy on the state” Egbemode added.

Among those in attendance are; Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy, Prince Adebayo Adeleke, Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa, Osun SUBEB Chairman and who also doubles as the Chairman of the Ilerioluwa, SUBEB secretary Adeoye Bakare, among others.
