Osun: Ayodele Asalu Set To Dump PDP For APC

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, Engr Ayodele David Asalu popularly known as Asler, has completed arrangements to dump the party and join the All Progressives Congress.

Asalu, who contested for the House of Representatives seat of Ede Federal Constituency, will be any moments from now be unveiled by the APC as its member.

It was gathered that the Ejigbo-born politician has branded some vehicles in support of the reelection of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

“Yes, I’m moving to the APC”, an online medium quoted Asalu on Friday.

A member of the PDP, who spoke with InsightMedia on Friday said Asalu’s defection is not unconnected with his recent loss to Hon. Bamidele Salam.

“Since he has lost, he has not been part of the PDP. We are not moved by his defection. He can go to whatever Party,” the source said.
