The Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has urged Nigerians to elect him as their leader in 2023 in order to combat the security threat the nation is facing.

Prince Adebayo revealed this during a 60-minute interview with Nigerian journalist Angela Ajetunmobi.

The SDP candidate praises the armed forces and claims that they are not ineffective because they just carry out orders from above.

He said, “Unlike the Nigerian police, where a police officer doesn’t need to go to the Inspector General of the police before arresting you if you likely committed a crime on the road, you’ll have to wait for orders and directives on what to do from their higher in the armed forces.”

The Ondo-born prince who expressed trust in the Nigerian army claimed that the bandits, kidnappers, terrorists, agitators, and all of their sisters combined did not have more than 5% of the force of the Nigerian army.

He also urged Nigerians to vote for him as president since he has no concerns about the military and that if they do, “we will be using Bokoharam as history textbook.”

Because they are among the most trained, educated, and respected armies in the world, the Nigerian army feels ashamed of the events taking place in the nation, he said.
