The governorship candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, (NNPP) in Ogun State, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo and Southwest executives of the party met behind closed doors on Wednesday. The meeting was held at the party secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo state.
According to the zonal secretary of the party in Southwest, Comrade Babatunde Oke, the main aim of the meeting is to discuss the way forward for the party in the Zone.
He said; ”The election is drawing nearer and our party is preparing well, there is no doubt, that our party, NNPP is looking forward to wrestling power with the main opposition parties in the southwest especially.
“We held a successful meeting, part of the issue discussed was the analysis of the Ekiti and Osun elections, we accepted the results, and it will be useful for us as we go onto the 2023 general elections. The focus is now to get victories for all our candidates in the southwest next year.
“Our party is full of politically like-minded people, so we will work, day and night to make our party more formidable here in the Southwest zone”

I Zonal Women Leader, Prince Adedayo Adeyemi, Osun Ex Officio, Honourable Rilwan Kareem Zonal Youth Leader, and others.
