Bandits in the early hours of Friday morning attacked a pastor’s house in Karimbu-Kahugu community in Lere local government area of Kaduna state.

It was gathered that during the attack, the hoodlums killed his son, kidnapped his wife and three others.

Confirming the attack to newsmen, the Vice Chairman, Kahugu National Development Association, Peter Mukaddas said the bandits who invaded the community went straight to the pastor’s house.

“In the process, killed his son who refused to be kidnap. However, his wife and three others who were in the house during the invasion were abducted.

” We are calling on the state government to intervene and ensure they return safely to their homes.

He also remarked that” We are fervently praying to God to touch their hearts so that they can see the wisdom to release them.

As of the time of filing the report, according to the community leader, the bandits have not contacted any person in the community for ransom.
