NETNOS Charges President Tinubu On Adequate Security, As NGO Gets New President, Olusesi Ebofin

The Network of Non-Governmental Organizations of Osun State, (NETNOS) has charged President Bola Tinubu to provide adequate security for the life and properties of the citizens.

NGO said that the administration need to put a stop to mass killings insome party of the country.

Speaking, the Newly Elected President of the organization, Comrade Michael Ebofin urged the Governor Ademola Adeleke to reeduce school fees in all government’s tertiary institutions to ensure accessible education for all.

Ebofin disclosed this in Osogbo during his acceptance speech tagged ‘Moving NETNOS To A Greater Height In 2023 And Beyond’.

He charged the Governor to run inclusive government with numbers of women in his cabinet.

Ebofin promised to strengthen the relationship between development workers and the state government through constructive engagements as Partners in Development and Change Agents.

According to him: “It is evident that the administration of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has been implementing various projects aimed at enhancing the fullness of lives of people, especially of the poor and the disadvantaged populace since he came on board

“We are asking for more as follows:
Sign Disability Bill into Law, Strengthen collaboration with CSOs/NGOs in ensuring good governance through the inclusion of all key stakeholders, Create an agency for NGOs in the state, Utilisation of VAPP Law in the state Speedy court process on GBV offences Stiffer punishment for adjudicated rapists and perpetrators of GBV in the state.

He however, charged the Citizens to embark on public enlightenment on the need to take ownership of the democratic enlightenment on the need to see active participation in government as an obligation.
