EPL: A Very Good Team – Pochettino Rates Liverpool Ahead Of August 13 Clash

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has given his verdict on his team’s 2023/24 Premier League tie against Liverpool next month.

Chelsea will host Liverpool in a Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge on August 13.

The match will be Chelsea’s first Premier League game of the 2023/24 season.

Speaking to the club’s official website on Monday, Pochettino said Chelsea would be ready for the Liverpool tie, adding that the Blues’ fans will create a good atmosphere for the home team.

“We will be ready for the first game against Liverpool – and it is going to be so exciting to have the first Premier League game at Stamford Bridge,” Pochettino said.

“We will face a team that is very good in Liverpool, I know very well from the past. Now it’s important to visualise ourselves at Stamford Bridge.

“We know very well the stadium and we know with the fans we will create a good atmosphere.”
