Tyson Fury’s Netflix documentary shows he was rooting for Anthony Joshua to beat Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch

On Fury’s new Netflix documentary, ‘At Home with the Fury’s’, one scene shows the WBC heavyweight world champion watching Joshua’s rematch with Usyk.

Joshua put in a valiant effort against Usyk in their second fight

But, similarly to the first fight, he came off second best

And Fury watched on with interest, as shown in his Netflix documentary
The pair clashed last year, with Joshua having lost the first fight by unanimous decision and so he attempted to win back his unified heavyweight world titles against Usyk in Saudi Arabia.

Upon seeing Usyk appear on the screen pre-fight, Fury, who was retired back then, was filmed saying: “See him there, he couldn’t knock the skin off a rice pudding. I would smoke that little motherf***ers boots.”

The announcer then read out both fighters records, pointing out that at the time Joshua had suffered two losses in his professional career.

And Fury commented: “Two defeats, not like me with a big fat zero, I’m still a virgin,” in reference to his unbeaten record that currently stands at 33-0-1.

As the fight got underway, Fury could be seen saying: “Go on AJ, good jab son.”

Fury continued: “Come on, get stuck in son. Swing some shots for God’s sake,” clearly frustrated by Joshua’s lack of action and punch output.

“This is shockingly s****,” Fury added. “I’ll tell you what I’ll do, I’ll go over there and I’ll fight with them both on the same night, that’s how s*** they are.”

Meanwhile, Fury’s wife Paris had to repeatedly remind him that he’s retired, as she was evidently not keen on him fighting again.

After the final bell, Fury said: “I thought it was a s*** fight. Honestly, I thought it was a proper s*** fight. It wasn’t even worthy of a British title, let alone a heavyweight world title, s***.”

Joshua would lose by split decision, but he has since bounced back with two wins and he is expected to take on Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia early next year.

As for Fury, he came out of retirement and following failed negotiations with Usyk’s team, he fought Derek Chisora for a third time in his comeback fight.
