Sofya: The Russian Who Quit Tennis For OnlyFans
Sofya Zhuk has gained attention on social media for her presence on OnlyFans, where she continues to attract more followers.
The former tennis player had a history of playing through injuries but made the decision to quit the sport in 2020 and join OnlyFans. Despite her excitement about her new venture, she has stated that she will not never pose completely naked.
Zhuk’s previous trajectory seemed to suggest that her success would come from her performances on the tennis courts.
In 2015, she surprised many by winning the women’s singles title at Wimbledon as an underdog. Three years later, she reached the 116th position in the world rankings. However, in 2020, she made the difficult choice to retire from tennis, primarily due to ongoing back problems.
“My body needed rest,” she told Bild.
“I was in so much trouble that even the doctors couldn’t treat me. I don’t normally digest protein, so the discs in my vertebrae were behaving like those of a 60-year-old.
“I always played in terrible pain, I loved tennis, but I had to think about my health.”
