OOPA Award, A New Challenge To Do More – Best Osun West LG Chair, Abere Soose

Chairman of Ede South Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Lukman Afolabi also known as Abere Soose, has described the OOPA award as the best chairman in Osun West Senatorial District as a new challenge to do more for his people.

The council boss vowed to continue on his chosen path by ensuring that dividends of democracy get to the grassroots.

Afolabi made this known in Osogbo on Wednesday while delivering his acceptance speech as Osun Best Local Government Chairman of The Year presented to him by Osun Online Publishers Association during it maiden Digital Media Week.

He who scored the highest votes conducted online between local government chairmen from Osun west senatorial district and decided by Osun residents noted that he was surprised that he won the prestigious award.

Afolabi, however, dedicated the award to all members of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Osun State chapter.

He also sought residents of the state continuous support for the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke in his efforts to make Osun a better place for all and sundry.
