Plumptre makes Saudi league Goal of the Month shortlist
Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has been nominated for Saudi Women’s Premier League Goal of the Month.
Plumptre was nominated for her second goal in Al Ittihad’s 6-2 win against Al Ahly.
The centre-back scored a hat-trick in the first half of the game.
It was her second hat-trick since linking up with Al Ittihad.
It would be recalled that Plumptre scored a hat-trick on her debut for the club.
Tanzania’s Clara Lovanga and Mexico’s Veronica Perez are the two other players nominated for the award.
