U.S.Army Corps of Engineers Update On Saltwater Wedge Impact In Louisiana

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released the latest Saltwater wedge timeline for facilities who may be impacted by the saltwater intrusion.

Based on the forecast Boothville is the only place whose chlorine level is expected to remain above 250 parts per million.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers say the forecast shows facilities upriver may not see impacts but treatment facilities in Boothville continue to experience impacts form saltwater intrusion.

The updated Saltwater Wedge Timeline is available on the New Orleans District website.
