Basketmouth Shades Wizkid as he Praises Davido’s Wedding

Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth, has taken a swipe at singer Wizkid while acknowledging that his colleague, Davido’s wedding has “taken” over social media.

He said it would be difficult to promote his show currently because all the attention is on Davido’s wedding.

He noted that even Wizkid’s recent social media drama didn’t get much attention because everyone was focused on Davido and Chioma’s wedding.

On his Instagram account, Basketmouth wrote: “Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space.
“Except you want us to start using Chivido2024 to promote the show. Which I don’t think will work.

“Because, even Wizkid wey throw shade, nobody send am.”

DAILY POST reports that Wizkid recently caused a frenzy after tweeting “Lol [lots of laughs]” moments after Davido released his pre-wedding photos with Chioma.

He also shared a tweet saying he was praying for every understanding woman which some fans claimed was a shade at Chioma who has been very understanding with Davido despite the infidelity allegations against him.

However, Wizkid debunked the speculations, saying people with misinterpreting his tweets.
