The Rector, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has charged members of the Polytechnic Community to be hopeful and opmistic, saying the year 2025 is a year of victory and favour.
The Rector in his new year message signed in his Ede home, declared that ” we thank God that we are witnessing the transition to the new year. The year 2025 is going to be a year of hope, progress and favour for all members of the Polytechnic Community, We shall be rewarded with abundant grace and blessings.”
Comrade Alabi also admonished members of the Community to be diligent, focused, committed and dedicated to their respective duties, saying “to whom much is given, much is expected.
If the State Government could have made the staffers happy with the 75 percent increment in the salaries of workers in the state, it necessary that we should also reciprocate the gesture in the discharge of our duties.”
The Rector expressed appreciation for the unflinching support of members of the Polytechnic in past years.
He noted that the support of the Chairman and members of the Institution’s Governing Council and his management team made it easy for him to steer the wheel of the institution.
He lauded the dedication of the entire staffers of the Institution, saying the students are also commendable for their discipline and forthright attitude on their studies.
He equally maintained that welfare of staff and students of the institution remains his priorities in the new year, adding that provision of standard and uncompromising education will continue to be his priority in the new year.
