Akinleye Urges Osun Residents to Participate in CVR Process

As Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC commence online continuous voters registration exercise in Osun state today, the Chief of Staff to the state governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye has urged the residents especially those who are yet to register or lost their permanent voters card to massively participate in the exercise.

Akinleye in a release personally issued and signed urged all eligible citizens, especially those who have just turned 18, and those who may have lost or damaged their voter’s card to seize this golden opportunity. He emphasized that the voter’s card remains the key to sustaining democracy and is the most powerful tool for shaping the future of Osun State.

Osun CoS appealed to the people of Osun to come out in large numbers and ensure massive participation so that the state can continue to enjoy the good governance and progress currently being witnessed under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke.

According to INEC guideline, the online voter pre-registration has begun via https://cvr.inecnigeria.org. The physical/in-person registration exercise will follow from Monday, August 25, 2025, at all INEC Local Government Area offices and designated centres across the state, between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
