ICHSOA Sets Up Planning Committee for Chief Olayinka’s Burial

..We must give him befitting burial – Prof Oyawoye

Leadership of the Old Students Association of Ilare Community High School, Ilare, has set up a central Planning Committee for the association’s participation in the Funeral Programmes of Pioneer Principal of the School, Chief Ayodele Adesoji Titus Olayinka.

The Committee is headed by one of the pioneer students of the School and a former Secretary of the Old Students Association, Mr. Kehinde Oyedeji (GOK).
This was disclosed in a statement signed the by Secretary and President of the association, Pastor Augustine Olumoye and Dame (Processor) Olubukola Oyawoye (nee Akinyemi), who declared that “Chief Ayodele Olayinka was an enigma who nurtured the school to an enviable standard. History will never forget him”
Members of the committee according to the President included:

13. Dr. Tope Abiola (Secretary)

While listing the terms of reference for the Committee, Secretary of the Association, Pastor Augustine Olumoye said, “expectedly, the committee should liaise with members of the immediate family of the deceased; identify and state what the association should do/contribute to the burial and other necessary participations, such as: presentation of tributes, oration, entertainment and possible donation to the family.

The Committee was urged to intimate the ICHSOA Executive with their resolutions and proposals for approval and execution as early as possible.

It would be recalled that Chief Ayodele Olayinka, the pioneer Principal of Ilare Community High School was called to glory on 2nd July, 2025. His burial according to family sources will come up 6th-8th November, 2025.
