Durojaye Commends Gov. Adeleke on Infrastructural Development in Ile-Ife

The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his continued commitment to infrastructural development in Ile-Ife, describing his recent inspection of the ongoing Lagere Flyover bridge project as a reflection of his administration’s dedication to transforming the ancient city.
Speaking to journalists in Ile-Ife, the Special Adviser lauded Governor Adeleke’s proactive leadership and hands-on approach to governance, noting that his visit to the Lagere construction site demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
He emphasized that the project, when completed, would ease traffic congestion, boost economic activities, and enhance the overall aesthetic of Ile-Ife—one of Osun State’s major economic and cultural hubs.
“Governor Adeleke’s infrastructural agenda is not just about roads and bridges; it’s about empowerment and sustainable development. The Lagere Flyover is a symbol of progress that will open new opportunities for traders, transporters, and residents alike,” the Special Adviser stated.
He also highlighted the governor’s broader developmental efforts across the state, including road rehabilitation, market modernization, and youth empowerment initiatives, which he said have collectively improved livelihoods and strengthened grassroots economies.
The Special Adviser urged residents to continue supporting the governor’s administration, assuring them that more people-oriented projects are underway to consolidate Osun’s growth trajectory.
Governor Adeleke, during his inspection of the Lagere Flyover on Tuesday, expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and reiterated his administration’s resolve to complete all ongoing projects within schedule.
