Ndidi thumbs up Besiktas’ win at Konyaspor

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has thumbed up Besiktas’ 2-0 away win at Konyaspor.

Ndidi opened scoring for the Black Eagles in the Turkish Super Lig encounter.

The 28-year-old nodded home a corner kick in the 21st minute.

It was the former Leicester City star maiden goal for Besiktas.

Tammy Abraham capitalised on a defensive mistake from the Konyaspor defence to score the second 17 minutes from time.

Ndidi said his side’s plan worked out in the game.

“The match went as planned. We knew it would be tough. We wanted to win, and we did. That’s the important thing. We knew the opponent’s plan. We worked hard and got results,” he told the club’s official website.
