EPL: Guardiola snubs Arsenal, names Man City’s biggest rival

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has picked Liverpool as the biggest rivals he has faced during his time in the Premier League.

Guardiola arrived in England in 2016 and replaced Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad.

Since then, the Spaniard has won a stunning 18 trophies with City.

When it comes to the league title, Guardiola has lifted it six times, beating Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to it at least four times.

Klopp, however, ended the Reds’ wait for the title in 2020, finishing ahead of City.

“If I have to choose one rival to this [Liverpool], I will share it with many people but this will be the best,” Guardiola said.

“I have been here longer than others in this country, the impact it’s had on my life.

“Barcelona is my club and Bayern was incredible but Liverpool have been the biggest rival in this country, and especially with Jurgen [Klopp], it could not be better.”
