Omisore is the Best Candidate to Lead Osun to Sustainable Development – Musa Tunde

The National Coordinator, Southern Movement for Asiwaju 2027, Alhaji Ayanleke Musa Tunde, has posited that the former deputy governor of Osun State and a two-term senator, Otunba Senator Engr. Christopher Iyiola Ajani Omisore CON, is professionally and politically qualified to pilot the affairs of the state to achieve sustainable development if finally elected as Osun State Governor in the 2026 gubernatorial election.

Alhaji Tunde made this known while welcoming Senator Omisore and his campaign train to Ife North Local Government area of Osun State on Thursday.

The National Coordinator noted that, while all aspirants within the All Progressives Congress, APC, are qualified, Senator Omisore’s vast experience in administration and politics, both in Osun and beyond, would give the party a greater opportunity.

Alhaji Tunde who contended that Omisore is equally enriched academically and tested in the political arena, said, with these qualities it has positioned him as a true symbol and a complete leader for a new generation.

The Ipetumodu born politician emphasised that, what Osun now needs is not a trial-and-error leader but a tested and trusted statesman with diverse capacities in many spheres, saying Omisore’s professional ability guarantees workable solutions to those infrastructural and developmental challenges.

Alhaji Tunde who called on residents of the entire Origbos in Ife North Local Government area to demonstrate their unalloyed support to Senator Iyiola Omisore’s governorship ambition and step up their mobilisation for him, said his administration would contribute to the welfare and betterment of all and sundry.

According to Alhaji Tunde, “Osun State sits at a very crucial juncture in its quest for sustainable growth and development therefore, there is need for a choice like Omisore who has visionary leadership technical expertise, intellectual depth, and political wisdom to Pilot the affairs of Osun.

“And in that regard, Senator Iyiola Omisore is the package, a professional engineer of international acclaim, a revered academic, and a politician to reckon with.

“Politics is the channel through which ideas become realities. Senator Omisore has traversed this path finely as his service record as Deputy Governor of Osun State and as a two-term Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria serves as proof of his dedication to public service.

“Senator Omisore is a reliable politician with the capacity to deliver total victory for the APC in the 2026 election while we should all intensify grassroots consultations in his favour”, Alhaji Tunde concluded.
