Persuade Those Who Remain in PDP Not to Sink With the Ship – Sen. Fadahunsi

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Fadahunsi has charged the current members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) not sink with the ship of the party.

Fadahunsi gave the charge to opposition party members on Sunday while speaking to newsmen at his resident in Ilase-Ijesa, urged them to join President Bola Tinubu for his second term bid.

According to senator, whoever is remaining there, we have to persuade them not to sink with the ship.

“We are not abandoning PDP; it’s PDP that abandoned itself. We are the same thing, but if they decide, because there is no road in the place again, they may decide to be using cutlasses to look for roads. APC will forge ahead; there’s no vacancy in place again. PDP is as good as… according to Jacob, he said PDP is ku (dead).”

Speaking on the country’s economy, Senator Fadahunsi said that Nigeria’s economy is on recovery path under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu government.

He said, “today, the price of food may still be high, but not as high as it was before. I am assuring you that before the end of this year or early next year, things will improve, and there will be mass production.

“We are all suffering, and when we were in the 9th Assembly, they said we were bad opposition party members. Today, we are all enjoying the negative result.

“But with the present government, we talk, and we know that God really sent him. Our prayer is that God will give him good health so that the common man will breathe.

“We know that it is not everybody that will like the economic policy, but it is yielding results now. There is no other country like Nigeria. I was somewhere yesterday, and we were talking about African countries.

“Nigeria is still the best, and we will continue to pray for him and support him. That is why you are seeing people across party lines joining him so that he can win the second term and stabilize the economy so that children will enjoy, he said.
