2026: Alubarika Movement Hosts Osun APC Leading Aspirant Oyebamiji, Pledges Support, Party Unity Ahead Primary

…As AMBO movement lauds SRJ’s pragmatic leadership

Alubarika Movement, a foremost socio-political group propagating the political ideas and values founded by the National of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator (Dr.) Ajibola Basiru, on Friday, hosted the leading governorship aspirant of the party, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, and his team, who visited the Alubarika House on a solidarity visit.

Speaking at the event held at Alubarika House, Asiwaju Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, lauded the efforts of the tendency at promoting cohesion and unity, within Osun APC.

The former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) who commended the party’s National Secretary for his strides at ensuring that the APC remains a one solid entity ahead of the forthcoming elections.

He also sought the collaboration of the Alubarika Movement in actualising his dreams of ruling the state by working assiduously to realise victory in the August 8, 2026 poll.

“I am glad to be among very distinguished eggheads who have shown to be committed, patriotic, and dedicated members of our great party.

“The Alubarika Movement has been one of our strong pillars in the party. In fact, Mr. President has continued to praise SRJ for his efforts, which he noted has strengthened the APC across the federation.

“As brothers, we have come to remind ourselves of the duty that we owe to send bad governance away from our dear state in the 2026 election. Let us join hands and work together, so that we can correct the tenets of bad governance and return our state to the pedestal of progress and prosperity,” Oyebamiji noted.

Other speakers, including the immediate past Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Taiwo Oluga, among others, promised that if supported to emerge as the Governor of the state, Oyebamiji will ensure even development and return civility and pragmatism to governance.

Earlier in his remarks, Chairman of Alubarika Movement, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, appreciated AMBO Movement for the visit.

He said the movement is deeply committed to the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress in the 2026 and 2027 governorship elections.

Olamolu, who also reechoed the need for unity in the party, urged Oyebamiji to fulfil his promises to party members, and the citizens of the state when elected.
