Just In: OAU Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso Is Dead
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, Professor Siyan Oyeweso, is dead.
According to reports, the Ede-born scholar, who is a Professor of History died after a brief illness.
Prof. Oyeweso, was appointed to the position in August 2024.
The university management is expected to release an official statement in due course.
