Osun: NAFOHEADS Holds End-of-Year Celebration, Launches 2026 Calendar

The National Forum of Heads of Federal Government Establishments (NAFOHEADS), Osun State Chapter, has organized its 2025 End-of-Year Get-Together and Send-Forth Ceremony.

This is even as the NAFOHEADS official launched the 2026 calendar on Thursday at the National Library of Nigeria Hall, Osun State House of Assembly Complex.

Speaking, Chairperson of the National Forum Of Heads of Federal Government Establishments (NAFOHEADS) Osun State chapter, Dr. (Mrs) Akinbo Ajifowowe, said
that they organized the event to honour retirees and formally welcome new members into the Osun State federal establishments community.

Ajifowowe disclosed that the programme brings together heads and representatives of federal establishments across Osun State, alongside top government functionaries.

She urged the members to ensure they monitor their health regularly scheduling routine check‑ups, tracking vital signs, and seeking medical advice promptly when symptoms arise to remain fit and able to serve the community effectively.

According to her, “It is my pleasure to welcome everyone and to stand before you this afternoon, to give the Lord Almighty the glory for taking us all through this year in good and sound health. I thank the Lord Almighty for sparing our lives for these 12 calendar months which has been a big blessing for NAFOHEADS, Osun State Chapter.

“This year, some members has been retired, elevated, transferred to higher levels while some have come to join us. We therefore, set a time like this where we appreciate everyone to say GOODBYE to the retirees, transferred and welcome the new members to Osun State. We use this medium to give glory to the Lord Almighty for our retired members that they did not retire into death nor sickness. Once again, I welcome everyone, most especially, all the substansive heads and their representatives whose achievements were wholesome in the year 2025,” he said.

However, the immediate past Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly who double as Special Guest Of Honour, Hon, (Dr) Tunde Olatunji, commended the National Forum of Heads of Federal Government Establishments (NAFOHEADS) for its vital role in strengthening governance and improving service delivery in Osun State.

Olatunji emphasized the significance of federal establishments in the development of any society, noting that their presence enhances access to essential services for citizens.

“In terms of development in every society, the presence of federal establishments makes a lot of difference,” he said.

“We are truly blessed in Osun State to have these institutions and the great men and women serving in them.” he said.
