2026 Guber: Osun People Will Renew Governor Adeleke’s Mandate

The Osun State Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for what he described as unprecedented strides in rural development across the state.

Alhaji Olaoluwa, in a statement released on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, noted that the governor’s people-oriented projects have positively transformed lives in many communities.

He stressed that since the inception of the Adeleke administration rural areas that were neglected have begun to witness meaningful government presence through road rehabilitation, provision of potable water, rural electrification, and community-based empowerment programmes aimed at improving the standard of living of the people.

He noted that several rural communities have expressed appreciation to the governor for listening to their yearnings and prioritising projects that directly address their socio-economic challenges, adding that such gestures have strengthened public confidence in the current administration.

The commissioner described the governor as a leader who understands the importance of community participation in governance.

He said “the deliberate focus of the Adeleke-led government on rural infrastructure is a clear demonstration of its commitment to inclusive governance.

“Since inception of the Governor Adeleke development is no longer limited to urban centres but spread across wards and local communities in Osun State.

“The achievements recorded so far under the rural development agenda of the administration have endeared Governor Adeleke to the grassroots

However, he called on residents of the state to remain supportive of government programmes that are designed to bring sustainable development to all corners of Osun State.
