Tinubu Declares APC Governors as Party Leaders in their States

President Bola Tinubu has revealed the real leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in different states across the federation.

Speaking at the official reception of Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State in Jalingo, Tinubu declared that the APC is under the leadership of every state governor in the country.

The president, who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, said that Governor Kefas is now the leader of the APC in Taraba State by virtue of his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.

The president reiterated his determination to support the governor and his cabinet to bring development to Taraba State.

According to him, the governor has been making efforts to unite the state and harmonise its diversity to achieve unity.

“I urge you all in Taraba to rally behind the governor and support him to succeed.

“I am satisfied with the defection of a governor in the North-East geopolitical zone, and I want both Adamawa and Bauchi to join the party at the centre,” the president said
