‘He Can’t Be Compared To Them’ – Ex-Real Madrid Boss Names Three Players Far Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Real Madrid manager, Fabio Capello has said that Cristiano Ronaldo is not as good as Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, and Ronaldo Nazario.

The Portuguese player is considered one of the best footballers of all time, and some people even think he is the best ever because of his success in the sport.

Capello talked on an Egyptian channel ON Sport’s Hat-trick show, and he explained how Cristiano Ronaldo is different from other top players in the sport.

The retired Italian coach said he thinks Messi, Maradona, and the Brazilian Ronaldo are better than the Portuguese player because of their ‘genius’ skills, which he doesn’t have.

“Cristiano is a top goal-scorer and a fantastic athlete, but he doesn’t have the special talent of Messi, Maradona, or Ronaldo Nazario.

“The cleverness that the others had is missing in Cristiano. He can’t be compared to those three,” he said via Kooora.com.

Fabio Capello retired from coaching in 2018 after a successful career, during which he worked with Ronaldo Nazario at Real Madrid.

He became well-known for trying to sign an 18-year-old Messi for Juventus after Messi played Barcelona for 25 minutes in a friendly match against Juve.

Ronaldo has often said in interviews that he is the best football player ever.

At 41 years old, the Portugal national team player is just 39 goals away from becoming the first athlete to score 1,000 official goals.
