Ayedire 2026: Prince Oyelude Oladele Joins Assembly Race Under APC

Aspirant for the Ayedire State Constituency seat, Prince Oyelude Oladele, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging to deliver effective and people-centered representation.

In a statement addressed to the people of Ayedire Local Government, Oladele who also serve as the Director General of Advocacy for Local Government Autonomy in Nigeria (ALGAN),said his decision to join the race was driven by a genuine desire to serve and advance the collective interests of the constituency, rather than mere political ambition.

According to him, “My declaration is driven by a clear vision of what effective representation should be. As your representative, I will not only occupy a seat in the Assembly but will actively work to initiate and sponsor people-oriented bills that address our pressing needs. I will participate fully in lawmaking processes to ensure that every law passed reflects the interest and welfare of Ayedire citizens.

“Beyond lawmaking, I am committed to providing effective oversight of government ministries, departments, and agencies to ensure transparency, accountability, and proper implementation of policies that affect our lives. Our constituency deserves a representative who will hold institutions accountable and ensure that public resources are used for the benefit of the people.

“I also recognize the urgent need to attract development to our communities. I will work tirelessly with the executive council both at the state and at federal level to facilitate constituency projects that improve our roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other critical infrastructure through strategic lobbying, engagement and collaboration, I will ensure that Ayedire receives its fair share of government presence and development.

“Youth empowerment and economic growth remain central to my mission. I will advocate for programs that create employment opportunities, support entrepreneurship, and equip our young people with relevant skills. I will also champion policies that boost agricultural productivity, recognizing the vital role our farmers play in sustaining our economy. He stated.

The aspirant assured that, if elected, he would prioritize the sponsorship of people-oriented bills and actively participate in legislative processes to ensure that policies reflect the needs and welfare of Ayedire residents.

He called on the people of Ayedire to support his aspiration, expressing optimism that collective efforts would lead to a more inclusive, prosperous, and progressive constituency.
