Eid-el-Fitr: Adeleke’s SA, Durojaye Urges Compassion, Investment in People

As Muslims across Nigeria mark the end of Ramadan with Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, the special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac, has extended warm felicitations to the faithful, calling for compassion, unity, and a renewed focus on human development.

Durojaye, in a message signed by his Media office, congratulated Muslims on successfully completing the spiritual exercise of fasting. He urged citizens to continue the philanthropic practice of almsgiving and to show kindness, particularly to the less privileged.

“This joyous celebration reminds us of the profound values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity that Eid-el-Fitr embodies,” Durojaye said. “As you conclude this important exercise of fasting and spiritual reflection, be reminded of the importance of empathy, kindness, and generosity towards others.

“May the spirit of Eid inspire us to cultivate compassion, promote understanding, and work towards a more just and harmonious nation.”

He also extended his wishes to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff to the Governor and Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the state government and all Muslims in Osun State, praying for peace, progress, and prosperity in the state, Nigeria and across the world.

The Special Adviser emphasized the need for leaders to move away from old practices and invest in human capital. He called on religious leaders to promote tolerance, socio-cultural leaders to embrace dialogue in resolving conflicts.

He called on the citizens of the state to work for the victory of governor Ademola Adeleke for second term in office so as to continuing enjoying dividends of democracy especially ongoing infrastructural development in different parts of the state.
