Full List: IGP Disu Redeploys Commissioners of Police Nationwide

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved a nationwide redeployment of Commissioners of Police (CPs) across key formations within the Nigeria Police Force.

According to internal sources, the postings were conveyed through a wireless signal from the Office of the Force Secretary, with immediate effect.

The latest reshuffle follows an earlier redeployment of Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs), as part of ongoing efforts to reposition the force for improved service delivery.

The redeployment affects strategic departments and commands, including the National Central Criminal Command (NPF-NCCC) in Abuja, the Special Protection Unit at the Force Headquarters, and INTERPOL operations.

Other impacted units include the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) annexes in Kaduna and Lagos, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit in Abuja, the Eastern Port Authority, the Police College in Ikeja, and the Special Fraud Unit in Ikoyi.

Additionally, several administrative and specialised units such as Community Policing, Safer Highways, POLAC courses, and the Directorate of Music at the Force Headquarters were affected.
