‘He Brings Energy To Pitch’ – Maduka Okoye Names Special Super Eagles Teammate

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has identified teammate, Victor Osimhen as a special player.

According to the Udinese shot-stopper, Osimhen brings quality to the team, adding that he is a strong player.

“Osimhen is incredibly strong,” Okoye stated, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb.

“Quality aside, he brings an energy to the pitch that no one else brings. He’s a special player.”

This is coming as the Super Eagles fine-tune preparations for Friday’s international friendly against Iran.

Osimhen will miss the friendly against Iran as he is recovering from an arm injury.

Currently second on Nigeria’s all-time scoring chart for the Super Eagles, Osimhen now stands just three goals behind the legendary Rashidi Yekini’s long-standing record of 37.
