Ife East Accord Leaders Organise Prayer for Adeleke’s Second Term Victory

…As Chief Imam leads prayer

The leadership of Accord party in Ife-East Local Government Area on Wednesday organized a special prayer session in Ile-Ife, Osun State, seeking divine guidance and continuity ahead of the anticipated second-term bid of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The prayer gathering, which drew party loyalists, community leaders, and residents, was led by the Chief Imam of Ife land, Sheikh Abdul-Semiu Abd-Hammid who offered prayers for the second term of Governor Ademola Adeleke, peace, stability, and sustained development in the state.

The prayer session was organized by leaders of the Accord Party in Ife-East Local Government Area at Enuwa Square, under the leadership of Hon. Durojaye Isaac (SIKOMOLE), who is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment.

Speaking, Hon. Durojaye Isaac who is the Leader of IMOLE MOVEMENT described the initiative as part of efforts to galvanize grassroots support and spiritually reinforce the administration’s achievements.

He said the initiative was aimed at expressing gratitude for what they described as “visible progress” under Adeleke’s administration while also committing the future of the state into God’s hands. He noted that spiritual support remains a key aspect of political engagement in the state.

Also, Hon. Adeyinka Adeniji, Vice chairman, Ife-Oye LCDA and the Chairman IMOLE MOVEMENT in Ife East, admonished party members to always continue to pray for the success of the forthcoming Osun Guber Election to favour Ademola Adeleke, adding that because the party believe in power of God hence the need for prayer for the Governor.

He urged members of the party to make sure they participate in the ongoing membership registration of the Accord party, saying the exercise is significant to the second term election of Governor Ademola Adeleke come August, 2026.

In his sermon, Sheikh Miftaudeen Adedayo emphasized the importance of leadership guided by justice, humility, and accountability, acknowledged the ongoing infrastructural projects embarked upon by Governor Adeleke.

He prayed for wisdom and strength for Governor Adeleke, urging citizens to continue supporting policies that promote unity and socio-economic growth. Adedayo stressed further that Adeleke deserved second term in office as a result of developmental projects in the state.

Attendees at the prayer also offered collective prayers for Governor Ademola Adeleke, Osun State, calling for peaceful political activities as preparations for the next electoral cycle gradually begin.

The prayer session made renewed call for peaceful coexistence among residents and a commitment by Ife Accord members to mobilize grassroots support in the coming months.

Similarly, the party members also embarked in work-to-live from Enuwa Square to Iremo road. The day’s activity was rounded up with the breaking of fast (Iftar) in the evening at IFE EAST IMOLE MOVEMENT RENDEZVOUS.

Leaders who attended the prayer are Hon. Isaac Durojaye,Special Adviser to Osun State Governor On Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Adeyinka Adeniji, Vice Chairman Ife Ooye LCDA, Princess Adekemi Awogbade, Accord National Women Leader, Mr Adeyeye Owolawi, Accord Chairman Ife East.

Others are Hon. Yakubu Olawusi, Senior Special Assistant, Hon. Lawrence Omotosho, Senior Special Assistant, Hon. Oyebamiji Niyi Dotun, Special Assistant, Hon. Kazeem Animashaun, Special Assistant, Hon. Wasiu Folorunsho, Special Assistant, Hon. Oluwaseun Arewa, Special Assistant, Hon. Gbenga Adelebare, Hon. Rashidat Aworele among other prominent party members.
