Osun Guber: Adereti Picked as Oyebamiji’s Running Mate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked Engr. Benjamin Kayode Adereti as the running mate to its governorship candidate in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

Adereti’s name was included in the final list of candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.

It would be recalled that INEC has announced August 15, 2026, as the date for the governorship election in Osun State.

Engr. Benjamin Kayode Adereti, an Ile-Ife-born politician, contested the Ife Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 general election but narrowly lost to the incumbent lawmaker, Taofeek Ajilesoro.
