Osun Poly Holds Combined 8 Convocation Ceremony March 26th

The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree will hold its combined 8th convocation ceremony on Thursday, March 26th.

A number of activities have been lined up for this epoch-making ceremony.

A release signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, disclosed this, adding that a Convocation Lecture would hold earlier on Wednesday, March 25th.

According to the release, a pre-convocation press conference would hold on Friday March 20th. It will be addressed by the Institution’s Rector, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, at the ETF Hall, Ospoly, Iree at 10:00 a.m.

Oloyede said same day, a special Jumat service would hold at the institution’s mosque at 2:00 p.m.

He added that on Tuesday, March 24th, there would be a novelty football match between the school staff and members of the alumni association, while the next day, 25th March, would feature the convocation lecture to be delivered by Professor Yakibi Ayodele Afolabi of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), while the occasion would be chaired by the Vice Chancellor of University of Ilesa, Professor Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu.

The statement added that the Rector’s cocktail party would later hold at the Staff Club of the institution at 6:00 p.m.
Convocation grand finale for the Award of Prizes, Diplomas and Certificates to graduands, he said, would hold on Thursday, March 26th at the institution’s pavilion at 10:00 a.m.

The Registrar advised the graduands to promptly pay the fee of N5,000 each for the Convocation pack at the institution’s Bursary Department and proceed to Academic Affairs Unit for the collection of their convocation package as from Friday, March 20th.
