Oyebamiji Mourns Demise of Osun-based Business Tycoon, late Chief Yusuf Lawal ‘Ọbẹ̀làwọ̀

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO has expressed grief over the death of Osogbo-based business mogul, late Chief Yussuf Amuda Lawal popularly known as Ọbẹ̀làwọ̀

Oyebamiji commiserated with the immediate family, business associates, friends and Muslim community on the passing of the late business tycoon.

News of Chief Ọbẹ̀làwọ̀’s death was announced late yesterday at aged 95 after a brief illness.

Oyebamiji in a condolence statement, described the deceased as an industrialist and philanthropist per excellence whose immense contributions to the socioeconomic growth of the state can not be overemphasised.

AMBO recalled great contributions of the deceased to advancement of local productivity.

“Though aged, the news of the death of our father, Chief Lawal Obelawo was a rude shock. Baba was an elder statesman, community leader, successful business mogul and distinguished personality whose contributions to the growth and development of the state can not be quantified.

“On behalf of my family, I heartily condole the entire family, friends and business associates of the deceased and I pray that Almighty Allah uphold and grant them the fortitude and strength to bear the irreplaceable loss”, Oyebamiji condoled
