Easter Celebration: OSPOLY Rector, Kehinde Alabi, Felicitates Christians

..Charges Poly Staff to pray for Osun Gov

The Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has congratulated Christians staffers in the Institution and the entire people of Osun State on the celebration of this year’s Easter.

Comrade Alabi, in a statement he personally authored and signed, said ” in the last forty days, Christians all over the world have abstained from eating, drinking and denied themselves from social activities to enable them pray fervently to re-dedicate themselves to God. The Christians have used the period to supplicate and pray to God for their various intentions.

“Now that the forty days prayers are over, I charge you to continue with your good deeds with prayers, alms giving and abstain from iniquities to live a sin free live, Comrade Alabi charges.

He reminded them that this season is not a period only for merriment, but also a period to deeply reflect on the passion, death and resurrection of Christ which indicates rebirth and purity in human lives.

He admonished the Polytechnic staff and entire people of Osun State to redeicate themselves to the service to God and humanity.

Comrade Alabi also called on the people of Osun State to use this period to pray for the victory of the State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke in the August 15 election, so that he would continue the massive developmental projects he is doing in the State.

According to Alabi, “Governor Adeleke is a God sent agent of transformation in Osun, we should allow him to continue the transformation. What he has done in the areas of education, road construction, health care services,

poverty alleviation and human development are unprecedented in the history of the State, we should compensate him with our votes; therefore I charge you to remember him in your respective prayers at this holy season of Easter, ” Kehinde Alabi charges.
