UCL: ‘Superb’ – Piers Morgan Praises Two Arsenal Players After 1-0 Win Against Sporting

British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has praised two Arsenal players following the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League 1-0 win against Sporting CP on Tuesday.

Arsenal defeated Sporting at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, following a late stoppage-time goal from Kai Havertz.

The outcome of the match gave the Premier League leaders a first-leg advantage ahead of the return leg next week.

However, in a tweet on his X account after the game, Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal fan, hailed Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli for their ‘superb’ goal and assist against the hosts.

“Brilliant goal by Arsenal, right at the death… superb assist by Martinelli, superb finish by Havertz,” Morgan tweeted.

Arsenal will now take on Bournemouth in the Premier League in their next fixture.
