A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Osun State, Engr Taiwo Ibraheem has said that the state has witnessed a wave of undisputable development under the progressive party.
Ibraheem stated this in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the creation of Osun State.
Going down the memory lane, the grassroot politician said
in the history of the state, the progressives have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state through their people oriented programmes and policies.
The Ejigbo born Politician commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for the feats achieved in the last 2 years urging the people of the state to continue to support him so as to be able to take the state to the greater heights.
According to the Ejigbo Local Government chairmanship aspirant,
“Osun has witnessed a tremendous wave of progress and development under the Governments of the progressive party.
“There is no gainsaying the fact that such efforts of societal emancipation and prosperity pioneered by Chief Adebisi Akande, continued by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and now consolidated by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has put the state in the limelight and corridor of progress and development.
“It is evident that it is on this thread Governor Oyetola is building on and further emboldening to ensure that the state reaches the zenith among the comity of states in the federation. Oyetola has done so well so far and what he needs is the support of the people.
“Infrastructural development and economic growth have been the major areas which our party centre its focus and this has made the state to witness unprecedented Development within the short period of ten years.
The All Progressives Congress has performed creditably well. We are grateful to God for bequeathing to Osun, a set of passionate, thorough-bred, transparent and efficient leaders who are irrevocably committed to see the state shinning.
Ibrahim however, enjoined residents of Osun not to relent in their support for the government of Governor Oyetola ,saying he would continue to uphold the legacy of his progressive predecessors
