No fewer than 35 students of tertiary institutions benefited from a laptop computer gift by the senator representing Jigawa Central Senatorial District, Senator Sabo Muhammad Nakudu.
The students, who were drown from the seven local government areas of the senator’s constituency, have received the donation through the Dutse Emirate Development Association (DEDA).
Speaking while distributing the computers, the chairman, Dutse Emirate Association (DEDA), Khadi Isah Jibrin Gantsa, said the association has been making effort to mobilise people to work together regardless of political differences for the development of the emirate.
Khadi Isah Jibrin Gantsa called on prominent indigenes of the emirate to partner with the association in the implementation of their agendas.
The representative of the beneficiary students, Abdul’Aziz Umar Jahun of Federal University Dutse and Ummukhulthum Umar Abbas of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa commended the legislator for the gesture.
