The Speaker State of Osun House of Assembly RT. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has described the 3 years of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun as one that has witnessed tremendous development.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kunle Alabi to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Governor held that the contribution of Oyetola to the development of the state remains indelible and incontestable,
Owoeye stated that the ease of doing business in Osun has since become unmatched, saying all the bottle-necks that may scare away investors have been removed.
He stressed that the turn-around in the mining, agriculture and tourism sector is exceptional and outstanding, noting that Osun is blessed with a Governor who is a silent achiever.
The Speaker said, “The Governor has been up to the task and he has improved on the standard of infrastructure in the state. Roads, health facilities, education among many others were not left out.
“Opening up so many rural roads has had a positive and significant effect on the economy of the state, this alone has made life more pleasant for commuters, motorists and commercial road users.
“The holistic approach to healthcare delivery by Oyetola’s administration has also positively impacted and enhanced economic development of the state, it is only people who are healthy that can work and be productive.
“I have always said it that the 7th Assembly of Osun under my watch will do everything possible to partner with the executive in giving meaningful life to our dear people of Osun, if we all have the people as our priority, the relationship will be cordial.
“It is in the atmosphere of peace that we can have development, development of our state is key, as accredited representatives of the people, their interest is paramount, the healthy relationship that the 7th Assembly has maintained with the executive arm is our collective resolve to transform our dear state.
“On behalf of my family and colleagues at the 7th Assembly, I congratulate you on the occasion of your third anniversary as the Governor of our dear State”. The Speaker emphasised.
