Nigeria captain, William Troost-Ekong has said the team has the most exciting attack in Africa.
Troost-Ekong was speaking ahead of the Super Eagles’ final group game against Guinea-Bissau on Monday.
The three-time African champions have only scored two goals in two matches at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Victor Osimhen scored in the 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea, while Troost-Ekong’s penalty was the winner in the 1-0 win over Ivory Coast.
But Troost-Ekong has hailed the abilities of his team mates.
“If I look at the players we have now, I think it might be the best team I have played in for Nigeria.
“That is with all due respect to some of the legends that have been there,” Troost-Ekong told BBC Africa.
He described Nigeria’s strikeforce as the “most exciting attack in Africa”.
