Last week, giant tech company, Apple announced the arrival of a new smartphone to the excitement of their customers.

Over the years, the tech company has released iPhone 6, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, and others which the company’s customers have received with open arms.

The most recent iPhone 13 has its own features and as expected, it offers an upgrade from its predecessors. Just like every smartphone, the iPhone 13 has its own selling points for the company, breaking new grounds and exploring possibilities.

1. The iPhone 13 has the most advanced cameras ever on iPhone

According to Apple, the iPhone 13 has the most advanced cameras ever since the invention of iPhone products. The iPhone 13 possesses a wide camera which has a larger sensor with 1.9 µm pixels, the largest ever on iPhone. In addition, it houses less noise and faster shutter speeds needed across lighting conditions, birthing even more detailed and in-depth pictures.

2. A massive leap in smartphone video

Another thing to be abreast of about the new iPhone is the massive leap in the video. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max introduce ProRes which is an advanced video codec used widely as the final delivery format for commercials, feature films, and broadcasts, producing higher color fidelity and less compression. The smartphone also provides a cinematic mode capable of giving users the ability to add beautiful focus transitions and background bokeh in the video. For creative projects, the iPhone 13 will come in handy.

3. Better battery duration compared to its predecessors

iPhone 13 has more power-efficient components, a larger battery, and power optimizations made possible by the tight integration of hardware and software enable amazing all-day battery life for both Pro models, with iPhone 13 Pro Max offering the longest battery life ever in an iPhone. Unlike its predecessors, iPhone 13 Pro Max will last up to two and a half hours long in a day than iPhone 12 Pro Max.

4. Offers users 5G experience

iPhone offers an advanced 5G experience, accelerating connection and sharing of content. The customized hardware design in the iPhone 13 Pro lineup features more 5G bands. This allows it to work in more places on 5G for greater coverage and performance. The iPhone 12 possesses limited 5G bands compared to the new iPhone 13.

5. iPhone 13 runs on ios 15

iOS 15 enhances the iPhone experience with new ways to stay connected, and powerful features that help users focus, explore, and do more with on-device intelligence. FaceTime calls now feel more natural with spatial audio and a new Portrait mode. In addition, it possesses Focus features that will help users reduce distraction. Notifications have also been redesigned, and Live Text uses on-device intelligence to recognize text in a photo and allows users to take action.

6. Available in different variants

The new iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available in graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue with different capacities which include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. For each storage size, the price differs, with the 1TB costing over a million naira.

7. A15 Bionic with 5-core GPU

The A15 Bionic is reportedly the fastest chip in a smartphone. It features a new 5-core GPU in the Pro lineup that brings the fastest graphics performance in any smartphone, up to 50 percent faster than the leading competition. The iPhone 13 Pro is ideal for video apps, high-performance gaming, and a slate of new camera features. So, anyone getting the iPhone 13 is getting a fast smartphone.

8. A brighter and more responsive display

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max introduce the most advanced display ever on iPhone, Super Retina XDR with ProMotion, supporting an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz, for fast frame rates when users need it and preserving battery life when they don’t.
