The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA today met with market women from Ikorodu Local Government Area of the district and unveiled his plans for women folks in the entire Lagos East.
This was contained in a statement signed by Enitan Olukotun, Special Adviser to Senator Tokunbo Abiru on Media and Publicity during the weekend.
Senator Abiru who was inaugurated as Senator on December 15, 2020 said he had already started fulfilling his campaign promises to the constituents.
Recall that last Monday, about 1,000 residents of Lagos East got COVID-19 financial support in fulfilment of one of the campaign promises of the Senator. The beneficiaries were drawn from the 16 local governments under the district.
Senator Abiru disclosed that more interventions are underway that will be tailored to meet specific trade needs of market women in the district.
Alhaja Taofeekat Abiodun Allison, the Iyaloja General, Ikorodu LGA assured the market women that promises of Senator Abiru will be fulfilled noting that he has the interest of traders at heart.
