The Senior Special Assistant to the President Muhammad Buhari on Legislative Matters, Senator Babajide Omoworare has beseeched members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to work together round the clock and ensure the victory of the party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Osun State.

Speaking while receiving the Osun State members of the Presidential Campaign Council, Media and Publicity Directorate, at his Ile-Ife residence, Omoworare charged members of the party to unite and cooperate with one another as a prerequisite for victory in the coming elections.

The Directorate members who were led by the Vice-Chairman, Olayinka Ishola who spoke on the need for critical stakeholders to come together and rally members who feel dejected after the July 16 governorship election loss of the party.

According to him “We have come here today to activate you as one of the Commanders for the 2023 election battles in Osun. It will be difficult considering that the PDP controls the government at the State level but we are confident of landslide victory if all our Commanders mark their territory.”

In his response, Omoworare reiterated his determination to support the directorate on her mandates, particularly as it concerns the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said party leaders in Osun need to forget the past and ensure unity within their ranks in order to avoid defeat at elections.

He added that he felt honoured by the visit and wished the directorate a very good outcome in the deliveries ahead.
