The executive chairman of Mokwa Local Government, Amb. Jibril Abdullahi Muregi has has commended the management of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) Niger State under the leadership of the Mrs Abdulwahab Olayinka for the good job that they are doing for keeping the camp calm.

Abdullah disclosed this on Saturday at the cultural presentation of hundreds of Nigerian cultures displayed by the 2023 batch A stream ll corp members, held at NYSC orientation camp, Paiko local government area of the State.

He lauded the NYSC management for ensuring that the activities in sequence are followed for the Paiko camp.

The council boss reiterated their commitment to work with 24 local government chairmen to ensure they provide an enabling environment for corp members that are posted to Niger State and their various local governments.

He appreciated the founding fathers of the Youth scheme for the wisdom and foresight to have come up with this team.

According to him, “Our forefathers were so blessed with the wisdom and foresight to have come up with this team. We know there are a lot of things to invest in or to benefit from this team that is why they put it in place.

“We just have to do everything humanly possible to uphold the scheme promoted projected and ensure that this came we can leverage on to guarantee the integration the sustainability of our country.

“NYSC is one of the popular programs or popular government policies that has been established in Nigeria and today is one of the bedrock of our unity that will come to visit our chest and be proud of what has been displayed here some few minutes ago is an example of what this scheme is all about.

“As you can see the corps members are happy they are joyful display talents coming from a different background from different sub-nations.

However, the State Coordinator National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) Niger State Mrs Abdulwahab Olayinka eulogized corps members for their efforts to come with good results.

As platoon one to ten presented their different tribes cultures Platoon 8 merged first position, Platoon 7 came second and Platoon 4 won third position.
