Osun State Creative And Entertainment Industry Initiative, (OSCEI) has debunked the romour making the round that its organized the Novelty Football Match that ended in destruction on Sunday.
The OSCEI, through the Acting Chairman, Paul Abiola Owolabi and made available to newsmen on Monday in Osogbo, Osun State capital, expressed displeasure over the rancor between the organizers of the Osun Creatives Novelty Football Match and the Deejays Association of Nigeria Osun State Chapter (DJAN).
Owolabi warned the organizer or any individual to desist from using brand of Osun Creatives to organize events in the state.
He called for calm among members, saying the officials of the OSCEI is at the top of the situation, “we have reach out to the organizers last night and they have not feed us back. let’s allow peace to reign in Osogbo and Osun State”
According to release, “Following the recent rancor between the organizers of the Osun Creatives Novelty Football Match and the Deejays Association of Nigeria Osun State Chapter (DJAN), that has caused the State serious damages on the social media since last night.
“We have received so many distressed calls, both in Nigeria and diaspora on the recent issues.
“OSUN STATE CREATIVE AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY INITIATIVE (OSCEI) Officials was present at the scene, due to the official invitation that was sent to the leadership of the body and our presence was felt at the venue, we have frowned against what transpired between the two as it eventually breakdown the peace and unity among those that are involved and this has prompted us to swing to action by informing the entire State and the general public that OSUN STATE CREATIVE AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY INITIATIVE (OSCEI).
“The OSCEI not the sole organizer of the event, the body was just invited to grace the occasion, as the organizer’s just intended to use the brand name OSUN CREATIVES on the motives that was best known to them.
“But the organizers were pardoned and warning has been sent to the public and individuals brands not to use the brand name Of OSCEI OR OSUN CREATIVES in organizing any event without legal approval, as such person or brand will be prosecuted by the law of the land.
“OSUN STATE CREATIVE AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY INITIATIVE (OSCEI) has never organized any competition or Novelty Match, and if such will happen, the general public and every association will be carried along.
