Social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has arrived at the National Assembly.
Verydarkman appeared on Monday at the Assembly complex along with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
He is currently before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on the investigation of disturbing allegations of corruption against the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, and the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCoS.
Also before the Commitee is Bobrisky’s lawyer, Averosoghene Omuvwie, representatives of the EFCC, and Correctional Services.
Meanwhile, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, is yet to arrive. But his lawyer, Avwerosuoghene Omuvwie, was in the chamber.
However, when invited to talk, VeryDarkMan said: “Today, I will not say anything because an invitation was given out to me and Bobrisky. But he is not here.
“I don’t see why I will be here and he is not. So I won’t say anything, but my lawyer will.”
Recall that VeryDarkMan posted an audio in which Bobrisky reportedly claimed he bribed some EFCC officials with N15 million to drop the money laundering charge against her.
It was also alleged in the audio that Bobrisky was never in prison, but in an apartment when he was supposedly serving his six-month jail term for Naira abuse.
Bobrisky denied the audio and threatened court action.
Following the accusations and counter-accusations, the House of Representatives decided to probe the allegations against the EFCC NCoS.
